Random post about spam.

I made spam this morning before I had to go to class. While I was frying this salty goodness, a splash of grease flew out of the pan and onto my bare foot. I was unable to wipe it off, as I was upstairs and all of my paper towels were downstairs, so I had to run down to my kitchen, whilst it was eating away at my skin, to wipe it off. I didn’t have any polysporin to put onto my foot, so I just rubbed lotion and put a bandaid over it. It stung. I was sad. I don’t know why, but stuff like this is a common occurrence in my life.

There’s this independently owned restaurant about 10 minutes away from where I live. I heard the food there was phenomenal and the cheesecake’s even better. I passed by it today on the way back from home (actual home) and it was so nicely lit and just had that romantic feel to it. The outside is made of stone and wood and it’s just so comforting. Blah, I really want to go on a date there, it’s like the perfect dinner date setting. 

Almost set off the fire alarm, lmfao

This stupid fire alarm which is right above the ‘kitchen’ goes off with everything that we make. So I was warming up my spring rolls and took them out with a spatula, one of them fell behind the pan and onto the burner. So I tried to get it out but the whole toaster smelt like smoke. “LISA I THINK IM GONNA SET OFF THE FIRE ALARRRM!” She runs and fans the kitchen with a dish cloth. Lmfao, I ran into the bathroom with the toaster oven and we got that little bastard out. Crisis averted. Fucking spring roll, your death is now.

I wish I lived in a more “Asian” city..

I always crave bubble tea/boba, kbbq, GOOD pho, and dim sum. In this damn white-ass town, there are none of those, except for pho, but it’s kind of shitty and they don’t have my favourite durian shake (cue the ‘ewwsss’). I kind of wish that I chose a University in Toronto or something… or that we didn’t move to this area. Boring town, with no good Asian restaurants - and if you know me, all I wanna do is eat….. no bueno.

Holy shit. I’m hardcore craving one of the wraps from my school back at Guelph. Mmmmmm buffalo chicken with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, cheese, and ceasar dressing (if you ever wanted to feed me… here are all of the toppings I get on my subs/wraps) ………………..

Food coma

Food makes me so sleeeeepy. Just came back from all you can eat sushi with Ann and Kayla. I miss having ‘us’ time - life is too busy. Anyways, we literally ate 8 rolls, some ribs, chicken teriyaki, sushi pizza, “japanese wontons” which were not wontons at all, and like everything else. I was surprised we ate all of that. We were all pretty much falling asleep waiting at the table for more food and in the car. No lunch is a good lunch without a food coma. It was a good lunch.

UPDATED: THIS FOOD WAS BAD, BAD, BAD. Gave me fucking food poisoning. Projectile vomit ftw…
